Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back to school – the summer term is always our favourite as so many exciting things happen so please do keep checking School Jotter for messages!
Today we held our KS2 auditions for the summer production (There’s no place like Marton) and it was very exciting. Children have worked so hard learning lines and singing, Mrs Cook, Miss Heath and I were blown away by their talents. This is sure to be a very exciting summer production! Thank you to all children for their hard work learning lines over the Easter holidays.
Well done to Fin Lewis who auditioned recently and was successful for the Royal Ballet School in Manchester; what a star!
We anticipate warm weather next week, please can we remind you to apply sun cream before school and if your child suffers from hay fever we recommend the ‘one a day’ antihistamine that can be taken before school. Ice lollies are also on sale from next week – Tuesday and Thursday playtimes for 70p each.
Details about after school clubs will be sent to families next week.
We are concerned about the number of children being collected early each week for appointments. Please can you bring proof of any appointment when collecting your child early. Thank you.
