SATS message for Year 69 May 2025 (by headmarton) |
Dear Year 6
It’s hard to believe we are now near the end of the year and you will be doing your SATS next week…where has the time gone?
I am lucky (and old enough) to remember most of your lovely mums being pregnant with you and have watched you grow into the fine young people you are today. We know what games you like to play, who your friends are, we remember the funny stories you have told us and we have watched you grow big and tall and learn new skills along the way. It has been our pleasure to be part of your lives.
Next week is a chance for you to do your very best and remember all the learning you have been taught. But we don’t want anyone to worry at all! SATS are a moment in time and don’t tell us what incredible young people you are. You are part of our Marton family and that’s more important to us.
Over the weekend, remember to play and have lots of fun; outside in the sunshine if you can. Enjoy being with your family and friends. Don’t forget to get a good night’s sleep each night and come to school early for SATS breakfast club each day. This time next week, SATS will already be over and we’ll start to prepare you for leaving our wonderful school.
Remember that we love you, we care about you and we are always your biggest cheerleaders.
Your friend, Nevin Deakin
