An introduction from the pupils
ISLA
Hi. I’m Isla and I am head girl this year. I have been at Marton since I was a Little Acorn in nursery and now that I’m in my final year, I am excited to represent our school and help younger pupils.
My hobbies include acting and reading. I love promoting reading in school and in the past have organised a school book swap and I have also introduced pupil librarians in KS2.
My current favourite series is Harry Potter. Like Marton, Hogwarts has four different house teams. If I were a pupil there, I would be in Hufflepuff, which means I am hard-working, kind, loyal and fair. At Marton, I am part of the red Oaks team!
The values of our Marton family are Agape, Justice and Communion; I am looking forward to sharing them throughout the school in my role this year.
ARTIE
Hi. My name is Artie ad I am head boy at Marton.
One of my favourite things to do is biking on my mountain bike. I go out on my bike as often as I can with my friends and family; I have even ridden down The Cloud!
I also love football. I have played for Vale Juniors FC since I was 5 years old and I also represent Marton. I change positions a lot, but prefer to play on right wing. I support Liverpool and my favourite player is Mo Salah - I want to play like him when I grow up!
At school, I love maths and PE (especially when we play hockey). I like to learn new things, especially in history. As head boy, I want to represent Marton well and for people to know what an awesome school it is!
