Good attendance isn’t just a number — it directly affects learning, confidence, and future achievement. Even small amounts of absence can add up quickly.

- 80% attendance = 38 days missed, which is nearly eight full school weeks.
- 27% of primary pupils miss 10 or more days of school each year. Children who miss significant learning often struggle to keep up later — gaps widen over time.
- Just 6 days of absence can lead to a drop in reading and maths outcomes.
Everyday Impact
