'Our Marton swimmers did a fantastic job at the swimathon again'
5 teams all reached over 100 lengths and the fundraising total stands at over £1000! The rotary staff noted how well behaved the kids were AND how happy they all seemed.
Special mention goes to our youngest swimmers Silvie and Izzy in year 1 and Carter and Cece in Year 2. They were helped by our Ex-Marton swimmers Jessica, Zoe, Isla and Felicity who showed such kindness and really supported the little ones.
Reuben in year 3 showed amazing resilience after a very difficult first length. After a breather he got back in the pool, changed stroke and continued for the rest of the hour.
The winning team was Year 6 who had the fewest members but worked as a team and smashed it!!
