Dear Year 4 Parents and Carers,

Please find attached a leaflet about the Multiplication Tables Check your child will take in June.

We have placed a strong emphasis on times tables in Year 4 and have been practising regularly in class through songs, games and quick recall quizzes. The children have been working hard to build their confidence and fluency.

Please support us by helping your child to practise their times tables at home. Short, regular practice can make a big difference. You could use Times Tables Rock Stars, quick-fire questions, or even practise while travelling or during daily routines.

Encouraging your child to recall facts quickly (up to 12 × 12) will really help them feel confident and prepared for the check.
