Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
A very belated Head’s Up from me this week!
Please accept my apologies for the late message; we have had an exceptionally busy week with our Ofsted inspection.
I would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful families for all the care, kindness and encouragement you have shown to the whole staff team this week. From your lovely messages to the very generous number of treats that have appeared in the staffroom, your support has genuinely meant so much to us!
We are not able to share any inspection information just yet, so for now it is very much business as usual here at Marton, with our children continuing to be at the centre of everything we do. We remain committed to giving them the very best care, support and opportunities to learn, grow and thrive.
Thank you also to everyone who joined us for our Meet the Teacher evening on Monday. It was lovely to see so many of you, and we hope you found the sessions useful.
Next Friday, our School Council will be promoting Jeans for Genes Day. Children are very welcome to wear jeans with their usual school uniform, and we will be collecting £1 donations for this very worthwhile charity.
Finally, a very special thank you to our amazing staff and governors. You are the fabric and the heart of our school, and I am incredibly grateful for the commitment, care and support you show every day.
