Year 1 and 2 common exception words
I have sent home a list of common exception words which your child should know by the end of year 2. It is really important that they can read AND write them, using them consistently. You may recognise some of these words from their spellings. It would be a great help if you can pick a few extra words each week that you know your child finds tricky and practice at home. This will have a great impact on their writing if they are confident with these words.
