Wow! Our netballers put in the performance of their lives to finish as Runners Up to Quinta A in today's school tournament at Blackfirs. We sailed through the qualifying rounds , winning 6-0 v Quinta B, 8-0 v Smallwood and 3-1 v Backfirs to finish top of our group. That set up a semi-final against Buglawton and we played beautifully again to secure another comfortable win (apologies - can't remember the score!) In the final we met the hot favourites Quinta A and in a very closely fought game we made a few too many handling errors and they capitalised to win the match 7-4. Our players were outstanding and they each played their part in our success. We are hugely proud of all of them, but special mention must be made of our Y4 players Bea and Kiara who stepped up and more than held their own against even the toughest opposition. Thanks to all the parents for your support - it means a lot to the children. Training on Monday as we've got league matches on Tuesday. Onwards and upwards team.
