Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

This afternoon was the final race in the Macclesfield School Cross Country series and some fantastic running and a top three spot in every race category resulted in the team being crowned 2017 Macclesfield Champions in the Year 3/4 Girls, Year 5/6 Boys and Year 5/6 Girls. The whole team ran superbly but special mention must go to Flo, Mia, Hayden and Philip for finishing in the top three of their races. The team have really developed over the season and have trained hard in all weathers. They should be very proud of what they have achieved. Thanks must go out to Kate and Jenny who have been pushing them all the way and have delivered such a great season. Well done Team Marton!
