Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

This has been a very emotional day as we have said Good luck and Good Bye to Mrs Beardsley after 17 years! We held a special assembly today and presented Mrs Beardsley with lots of lovely gifts from staff, children, parents, PTA and Governors. Everybody looked fantastic in their snazzy glasses too! It's been a pleasure to work alongside Lynn - she was the first person I met when I started Marton and has been a part of our wonderful School Family for so long! We wish her and her lovely family lots of luck for the future and hope she comes back to visit us! Our magnificent bakers from Year 5 held a terrific bake sale to support Michael Wood's walk up Snowdon and they raised £48.28 - isn't that awesome? Next week our wonderful Year 6 children will sit their Key Stage tests (SATs) - I have been so very proud of the manner in which they have applied themselves. Special thanks to each and everyone of them. A very special mention about Mrs Wilson and Mrs Woodmass who have worked with such enthusiasm and encouragement. Thank you for working so hard!
