Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Well that was a busy week!
Many thanks for your patience and understanding this week whilst we had our Ofsted inspection. As soon as we receive the report this will be shared with all parents and carers. Whilst I am unable to discuss the report, I will say everyone worked so hard for the benefit of our children!
This week we had some very exciting events and visitors – year 6 had Roberts Bakery in for two mornings and had a truly delicious time. Year 2 went to Beeston, EYFS went to the beach and had chance to do their Sports Day, Open the book came to school, Year 4 had PE at Eaton Bank and we survived the glorious weather.
Do watch this space about a new date for sports day for KS1 & 2 too.
We are all looking forward to the PTA movie night after school today – what a great start to the weekend! Good luck to year 6 for their residential next Monday too.
Please can I use this space to pass on my thanks to ALL the staff and governors for the team work they all displayed this week. It is a privilege to work alongside you all.
