Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

Many thanks to all our children this week for their end of term assessments, they have all worked incredibly hard and we are proud of their efforts and achievements. Congratulations to our Year 6 children and their SATS results which were published this week. As so many of our children have been out on transition days we are going to give the children their results on Monday when they are all together. I can confirm however, that we actually exceeded our school targets, Cheshire East targets and the national averages and are therefore very very proud of them! Congratulations to Mrs Wilson and Mrs Woodmass for their hard work and efforts too! End of year reports will be sent out to parents on Friday 21st July and we hope you will all enjoy reading them. This week year 4,5 and 6 did some further work with Kristy from the NSPCC looking at Online Safety and this followed up the work we did at the beginning of the year. Once again we felt very proud to be part of Team Marton at Town Sports on Wednesday, an event that is enjoyed by the whole school community..and we won!!! Next week we are all looking forward to the fantastic Key Stage 2 production of Wind in the Willows, many thanks to all the children, staff, parents and helpers who have helped prepare the children.
