Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
What a truly special week this has been for our whole school community!
It really has been a very special time for us and it was fitting that the KS2 production gave us a chance to come together and celebrate the hard work and efforts that have taken place all year. I am sure you will all agree that Wind in the Willows was just magnificent, the children, staff and helpers did an amazing job and should feel very proud of their efforts.
KS2 Sports day was a great success and thankfully the weather was perfect!
Next week is Year 3 & 4’s trip to York and we hope they all have a super time there. Be sure to check out the website/app for regular updates from them.
We do hope you and your families can join us for the Governors Summer Social event on Monday 4- 7pm. Dean from Kickstart will be here to play games with the children, Granelli’s ice cream van is coming, we will have a barbeque and would like to thank you all for your support this year. Please do remember all children can wear summer clothes & shorts to school on Monday too!
