Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

On Wednesday evening the cross country team were in action again. This week over 30 children represented the school and they should all feel very proud of themselves. In the Year 3/4 Girls race, Ellie came in a spectacular 3rd place and Olive a fantastic 5th place. With Maddie coming in 21st that gave us a 2nd place in the team event. The Year 3/4 boys race featured Thomas who glided through the field to finish in an amazing 3rd place. A special well done to Elliott, Lewis, Harry and Charlie P for their first cross country race, they did the school proud. A fantastic improvement from Kiara, in the Year 5/6 Girls race, gave her a 26th place finish, much improved from last weeks. Bea finished in 27th and the other girls came close behind. In the Year 5/6 Boys race, Hayden faces strong competition this year but stormed home in 5th place, Michael had a strong run in 36th place and Bodhi, on his Marton debut, finished in a great 56th place.
