Well it’s beginning to look (and sound) like Christmas! We held our beautiful Christingle service this week, many thanks to Year 4 and Ms Bromley for leading this with Rev Arch. Many thanks for your continued support for the PTA Christmas Fair - we are all looking forward to next Friday. As some of you will know, Mrs Reynolds was diagnosed last year with a terminal illness and she has been off school. She has now made a decision to take early retirement and spend this precious time with her family. We are all incredibly proud of the way Angie has continued to fight her illness and support her in all she does. We will not be saying goodbye to Angie as she will continue to be a part of our Marton family and be involved in school life. For those of you that know, Angie will be catering for the Christmas fair and making her famous chilli and sticky toffee pudding..do come back to school hungry! We will however be holding a very special afternoon tea party for Angie on Friday 15th December from 1.30pm and we would like to invite you all. Angie will be baking and we know our special Star Bakers will also be baking but if you would like to send cakes in; you are most welcome. Do please pass this message on to past pupils and parents as Angie would love to see familiar faces and chat to everyone. She doesn’t want a leaving assembly, more a chance to stop have a cuppa and chat and we’d love to see you all there.
