Uganda week Did you know that Malaria kills one child every 30 seconds, about 3000 children every day? Over one million people die from malaria each year, mostly children under five years of age, with 90 per cent of malaria cases occurring in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our School Council and Ethos Group want to help to buy mosquito nets (after a visit from our friend Gerry) by organising a UGANDA WEEK from 19th - 23rd March. This will include a DVD night (straight after school) and an own clothes day. More info will follow but please save the date for DVD night - Thursday 22nd March. If anyone would like to help with organising hot dogs or the tuck shop for DVD night, please let me know as your help would be most appreciated!
