    Marton fought hard in some close matches to finish 4th in their section

    It was a tough afternoon for our team today as they came up against some tall and physical Y6 opposition at Sandbach. We played 4 matches against schools we've never played before and although we managed some lovely flowing play and good goals, we just couldn't get in to top gear. As is expected from a Marton team, we never gave up and our play improved with each match. Great teamwork and great sportsmanship in the face of some interesting umpiring decisions. A good warm up for Thursday's second round of the league. Thanks to all the parents who came to watch...see you tomorrow!
