I have had the pleasure of teaching Fractions to Year 3 this morning and we all really enjoyed eating our Maths!
(Do ask the children what this means). We even had chance to write a poem together..
Fractions are great and can be funny
Fractions taste best when they're in my tummy!
Sometimes fractions can be the same,
Its called - equivalent - a mathematical name!
We learnt 4/12's are the same as third
In year 3 we love fractions - haven't you heard?
We ate our maths, it tasted fun,
When eating factions; we got the work done!
