Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
If you haven’t yet been to see the magnificent Prayer Garden – do come and have a look. It’s a testament to everyone’s hard work and support and we are all looking forward to watching it further develop over time.
Many thanks to Parents/Carers who brought plant pots into school today; there will also be another collection next Friday if you have any spare for school.
For many months the children have been asking if we could have a Pyjama/Onesie day at school but due to the cold weather, we have waited till this term. If children would like to wear pyjamas/onesies they are welcome to - on Friday 25th May (our last day before half term holidays), no donations needed.
One of our much loved mid-day assistants, Mrs Rowley has resigned due to ill health after being poorly for a couple of months and we are all sorry to say goodbye to her. Julia has been involved with Marton school for 18 years and she will be greatly missed. We will hold a special assembly and would like to present Julia with some special gifts if parents would like to send any donations in.
Wishing you all a very enjoyable Bank Holiday weekend
