Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
It's been no secret that this has been a very busy week and we are all looking forward to the weekend!
Our year 6 children have continued to make us very proud in the way they have conducted themselves during SATs week and I know they all enjoyed their picnic lunch/games today!
Year 2 children have also worked incredibly hard and I would like to thank all the staff for their support and commitment.
It was a pleasure to welcome reception parents for lunch today - the children love parents/carers coming into school and we hope you all enjoyed this too! We look forward to welcoming Year 1 parents for lunch on Thursday @ 11.30 am.
Next week its EYFS assembly for parents on Thursday and Year 1 on Friday. Both will take place shortly after 9 am and we hope you can join us. Refreshments will be available afterwards.
Please do come along to our Marton Friends & Families meeting on Wednesday @ 4pm too - all very welcome!
This morning I had a lovely surprise from Katie in Year 4 (& her friends) and we will share this with you later... we really do have such incredible and caring children at school!
