Hopefully you’ve all received your child’s report and SATs information. In the report it will explain if your child has met the required standards in maths, reading, writing and science or not met. You may request your actual test scores from school should you wish to see them. The assessment is very rigorous and although the children have a test in reading and maths this isn’t the only way your child has been assessed this year. The main assessment is teacher assessment, the tests are used to back up our judgements for your children and are just a snapshot of what they know. They are therefore only a small part of what they’ve learnt over the year. I am so proud of how hard the children have worked. Many thanks, Mrs Field
