Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Many thanks to all Parents & Carers for attending Meet the Teacher evening. All staff are uploading their various presentations and information onto the website for you to keep at home to support your child/ren.
We welcomed Open the Book and Rev Arch & Rev Naylor for Worship services this week and Year 4 began their brass lessons! Kickstart launched their after school clubs and the summer holidays seem a long time ago now! Our school clubs begin next week (apart from Wednesday when we have staff and governors Safeguarding training).
Its Jeans for Genes day next Friday 21st Sept and children & staff are welcome to wear any jeans/denim clothing with school shirts and jumpers on top, bringing in £1.00 for this worthy charity. More information can be found on: www.jeansforgenesday.org
It’s also Parent Surgery next Friday too and we hope as many parents can attend as possible. These meetings start about 9.10am and usually last an hour. Bacon rolls and coffee provided. A governor attends these monthly sessions so we can answer any questions you might have. Mrs Bedford will attend the first part of the meeting to explain ParentPay if anyone is experiencing any difficulties.
Special shout out to (awesome) Year 1 and Miss Copestick for their retelling of the Three Little Pigs during Celebration Assembly today, it was gorgeous!
