Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Wow!!!
What an amazing week this has been!
We began the week with our Girls football team being superstars, our magnificent Harvest gathering mid-week and ended the week looking forward to our Family & Friends Bottle Bingo tonight! Many thanks for your support and donations for Harvest and Bottle Bingo. It certainly is true ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. Our whole school community has come together in so many ways this week and we have really lived one of our school values – Communion.
We will be further celebrating this value next Wednesday by preparing one of our special Christian Values Days. We will be welcoming leaders from other religions; helping us to understand Multi Cultural Faiths and staff have prepared some special activities for your children.
Please make a note in your diaries for Friday 14th December (Christmas Jumper Day) as we will once again be supporting East Cheshire Hospice by hosting a SNOWMAN SPRINT on the same day and we would like you to get involved and run with us all!
More information will be sent after half term and Snowman Sprint envelopes will be sent home. East Cheshire Hospice plan this as a sponsored event but we are more than happy for children to collect a donation instead. This sprint will take place shortly after 9am with mince pies and hot drinks afterwards. All very welcome!
May I remind you all that its Parents Surgery next Friday 26th @ 9.10am and we finish for half term at 3.30pm. We will return to school on Monday 5th November.
