Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
This has been a very busy start to the new half term and we have all enjoyed the many activities we’ve participated in this week.
Mrs Sparey launched our Big Think on Monday and it was the perfect welcome back to school after half term holidays. I hope your children have told you all about their reasoning lessons.
You will have seen and heard about the beautiful poppies each class have made this week and if you are able to go along to one of the Church services at the weekend you will see the beautiful displays of poppy wreaths on show. Many thanks to Rev Naylor for all her enthusiasm and support, she really is a good friend of the school and we greatly value her involvement.
Many thanks for the (hundreds) of teddies and soft toys sent into school today ready for our Christmas Fair. Next Friday’s collection is bottles please. As this day is also BBC Children in Need Day, we would like children (and adults!) to wear odd socks and bring a donation if they are able to.
With all good wishes for the weekend, Nevin
