Anti-Bullying Day14 November 2018 (by headmarton) |
Friendship Day on Monday 19th November
To support anti-bullying week we would like to encourage all our children to work on friendships and really get to know their peers. In particular to play with children they don’t normally play with! To aid them do this….we will be dedicating Monday afternoon to playing games and we need your help!
If you have any unwanted board games, packs of cards etc. we will be holding a Game Amnesty and gathering these in for our children to use on Monday. Failing that, children are welcome to bring (named) board games in (Twister and Snakes & Ladders are always popular) to play. No electronic devices please.
In my office I have a (donated) big box of LEGO and it has been an absolute delight to watch year 4 girls building houses & structures and enjoying being with each other this week; so in the spirit of supporting friendship, each class teacher will be playing games with their classes on Monday afternoon and supporting friendships.
Many thanks for your continued support, Nevin Deakin
