Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Many thanks for your patience and understanding this week during the poor weather. I am so pleased that you were able to receive our school messages on our school app so quickly too. Special thanks to the bus companies who were very supportive this week and allowed me to call them (very) early each day.
I am sure you have all heard about our wonderful Lost and Found – Science Day this week. We all had a brilliant day investigating and conducting scientific experiments and began the day with a Scientist and Explorer visiting (with his dog) to read us a story to launch the day. The hall was so atmospheric and really set the scene for us all. Many thanks to Mr Marks and Miss Copestick for organising such a special day.
Information about the Swimathon will be sent out today, do come and support school next Friday if you can!
Next week Year 4 will be on their residential trip and we all look forward to hearing from them whilst they are away. Mr Marks and Dean will keep the app updated with news and photos too.
