Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Our Year 4 children have had an amazing residential trip this week and I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to them and hearing about the activities they took part in. Huge thanks to Mr Marks and Dean for accompanying the children on what has been a very successful trip. As a treat, Mr Marks and Dean have recorded themselves on the giant swing and we all watched this during Celebration Assembly today (will try and persuade them to put this on the website for you all to see too!)
Next week we have the excitement of Young Voices on Monday; children are welcome to come into school later on Tuesday morning if they are tired after such a late night home, although staff will be in school as normal. Please do let Sandra know in the office if this is the case.
We have supported our pupils this week in understanding about online safety. Information was sent to parents and carers this week and we had a special assembly from Jackie at Kickstart on Thursday who launched some CEOP information about permission/consent when accessing games online. We hope you found this useful.
Tonight is the swim-athon; if you are able to come and support the children – you would be very welcome!
Have a super weekend
