Staffing news
Dear Parents and Carers
As you know Mrs Cooper has been off school poorly and supplied sick notes for us. I am now writing to inform you that she has decided to resign due to personal reasons from her position as EYFS teacher at school. Mrs Cooper has been a great asset to Marton and we wish her and her family much love and best wishes for the future. If you would like to contribute to the collection we are having to thank Briony for her hard work, please send any donations into school by Friday, many thanks in advance.
We have been fortunate to have had supply arranged till half term for your children; Miss Martin has had a great impact at school but had already been offered a teaching post in Macclesfield after half term. We therefore began recruiting for a member of staff to join us so your children did not have any further disruption.
I am delighted to inform you that Miss Winstanley will be joining our school team after half term and is hoping to continue for the remainder of the school year. I will keep you informed if any further developments occur. Miss Winstanley has been working alongside Miss Martin since last Friday and has already familiarised herself with your children and school life and I know you will all continue to make her welcome.
With best wishes
Nevin Deakin
