Staffing news
I am so sorry to be writing this to you over the holidays but wanted to inform you about a sudden staffing change.
Miss Winstanley has decided she doesn’t want to return to Marton after half term as she doesn’t want a full time role. I am incredibly disappointed and also very sad that Miss Winstanley did not inform us of this before she accepted the post.
I have however been working tirelessly to arrange supply cover for your children and am pleased to inform you that Mrs Rostron will be joining us on Monday 25th. Mrs Rostron is an experienced teacher who has read, write inc and reading recovery experience in her teaching career so she’s very much looking forward to working with your children this term.
We had originally planned to host a Meet the Teacher morning on Thursday 28th February but given the circumstances - we will rearrange this date and keep you informed.
As always I will continue to keep you updated and thank you for your support and understanding in this manner.
