Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Many thanks to Year 2 for their wonderful assembly for Parents today. Everyone enjoyed this and it’s always a pleasure to welcome parents to observe our special Friday Celebration assemblies too! Thank you Mrs Field and Year 2.
On Wednesday we celebrated Agape – one of our school Values for Christian Values Day. We all enjoy taking part in these special days as our school core values underpin everything we do. We ALL value, love and respect each other and days like Wednesday cement this. Special thanks to Miss Copestick for organising such an exciting day and to the staff for their inspirational ideas and activities. Many thanks to Rev Arch and Rev Naylor for being so involved in this day. We ended the day with a Communion service and it was a beautiful end to a special day.
We also welcomed Mrs Owen to school on Wednesday and look forward to her second transition day next week. Please don’t forget she will also be conducting Meet the Teacher morning for EYFS parents with Miss Ellis.
Many thanks to those of you who responded to our shout out for a replacement fridge. Kickstart have bought KS1 a new fridge and this was delivered today...HUGE thanks to them!
The Easter Chocolate collection on Thursday was pretty incredible – well done to Blue House team for collecting the most. Don’t forget its F & F Easter Games night later.
Lastly…thank you all for supporting 3 very special mature girls (The M.E.T team) for their fundraising. Coming to school in pyjamas was such a treat for everyone and we thank them for being so innovative and caring.
