Dear parents,

It was lovely to see so many of you at parents’ evening this week. I talked to many of you about practicing spellings and times tables and I just wanted to remind you about Spelling Shed and Times Tables Rock Stars.  If you’re unable to login, please feel free to ask me for your child’s details.

From next term, we are changing the times tables test. The children will have a times tables grid and are given 5 minutes to complete it as best they can, the aim is to beat their score each week. I am sending an example home this week and I would suggest a great way for your child to practice is using Times Tables Rock Stars.

I will set some MyMaths homework for the Easter holidays and for English I would like you to focus on reading with your child.
