Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
We began the week with special visitors from Congleton Youth Orchestra visiting and performing for the children and ended the week with the NSPCC special assemblies for Key Stage 1 and 2 children, so we have had a very busy week.
Our Year 2 children have worked with such enthusiasm this week for their end of key stage tests and we extend our thanks to Mrs Field in the way she has planned and prepared the children for these.
We have also said a special thank you and goodbye to Mrs Page; one of our long serving teaching assistants as she has decided to resign following a period of ill health. We sent Mrs Page a beautiful gift from everybody at school and continue to wish her well for the future.
Today we have sent out 2020/21 school holidays with a reminder of our 2019/20 holidays for your attention. We know it’s really helpful for families to plan holidays in advance and to be mindful of year 6 SATS. These will also appear on our website for your attention too.
It has been a great pleasure to be a part of so many wonderful activities and events at school and we are all looking forward to a very busy end of year. Please do make a note of all the special events next half term.
On behalf of the staff team we wish you all a super half term!
