Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
We have all thoroughly enjoyed returning to school after the half term holidays as we launched our Craftivism Enterprise Project at school! There has been much excitement, planning and preparation and the Dragon’s Den style assembly yesterday was fantastic! Our ‘dragons’ have certainly missed their vocation and did an amazing job of asking the children challenging and thoughtful questions before they decided if they wanted to invest in each classes product. I can’t wait to attend the market stall next Friday and buy every product! Please do come and support your children and our great Staff. All profits will go to Friends and Family which then comes back to school.
On Wednesday we welcomed an inspirational and energetic visitor – Paul Griffiths to school, who made us all stop and think about our planet and how we need to look after it and ourselves. The children and staff were spellbound by his enthusiasm!!! He was mesmerising!
Special thanks to Mrs Owen for organising a super and informative reading meeting for EYFS parents. This information can also be found on our school website if you were unable to attend yesterday.
On Tuesday 25th June we would like all children to come dressed in Sports clothes/Kits/PE kits as Kickstart have a sporting day planned as an end of year treat for children.
Today I have sent the staffing for September letter out and all staff are looking forward to meeting their ‘new’ class on Move Up Morning on Friday 28th June.
