Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
We held our magnificent Awards Assembly today and it was absolutely amazing!
It was not only a pleasure to thank and congratulate some of our children but a privilege to honour them in this way! Many thanks to Mrs Field who launched this assembly three years ago; it’s gone from strength to strength!
We have had much to celebrate this week; our wonderful Key Stage 1 and 2 SATS results, our KS2 Summer Performances and winning further sporting accolades! Not forgetting Year 1’s Butter making this week …that was yummy!
This week our prayer garden received a blessing with a very special Worship, many thanks to Rev Arch and Rev Naylor and those who were able to join us. We also want to thank Congleton Town council, Lindow Landscapes, Country rustics, Swettenham club, Matthews Landscaping, parents and our local community for enabling this magnificent project.
Many thanks to everyone who supported Mason Royall’s bake sale on Sunday 7th July he managed to raise nearly £450 for his chosen charity ‘Help for Heroes.’ What an achievement!
Next week we have many activities planned and an emotional Leaver’s Assembly on Thursday. Year 6 children are welcome to bring in a spare school shirt for signing on the last day too.
With best wishes,
