Places for the after school clubs must be booked in advance, permission is not needed for football and cross country as these are during school time. Places will be allocated on a first come/first served basis. We will confirm your child's place before the first session starts.
Except Kickstart, CLUBS WILL BEGIN THE WEEK BEGINNING 9TH SEPTEMBER and run for 10 weeks until 22nd November.
KICKSTART clubs run on a half termly basis – please see their previous message for details and dates.
All after school clubs (except KICKSTART) will begin at 3.30pm and end at 4.30pm. We will aim to avoid cancelling clubs, but if they are, we will send an email/text message to inform you and keep children at school if necessary, until 4.30pm.
Please encourage your child to join an extra-curricular club. There are many social, emotional and cognitive benefits to their participating in an after school activity. Also, please ensure that your child understands that we expect total commitment to the club once a place has been offered. If they cannot attend for a valid reason, then parents should inform the member of staff running the club and the school office.
Ethos club, run by Miss Copestick, will be held at lunchtime. Children wishing to join should speak to Miss Copestick or write a short letter of application.
Eco Club, run by Miss Byron, will also be held at lunchtime. Children wishing to join should speak to Miss Byron or write a short letter of application.
