Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
I hope you have all received the invitation to our 50th Birthday social on Friday 20th September.
Nick Barnes will perform a magic show for children at 3.30pm and the Kickstart team will play family games on the field afterwards. A free supper; hog roast, puddings and a welcome drink will be provided for you by our School Governors and Marton Friends and Family and a bar is available to buy drinks.
We are hoping this will be a family social event and a chance catch up with old and new faces; we will aim to finish the event by 8pm. I have arranged with Robert Sims to use the field for car parking as they do for Marton Wakes, so parents and friends can easily park and come onto the key stage 1 playground where food will be served.
If you do still want your child to travel on the bus on this day – please contact the school office.
It’s also Jeans for Genes day next Friday so children can wear Jeans with their school uniform and pay a £1.00 for this worthy charity! A super day all round!
Special thanks to all our Children and Marton Friends and Family; the Dragons Den enterprise project raised £800 for books for school. What an incredible amount!
