It's Harvest Time!!3 October 2019 (by S Copestick (Year1)) |
We hope you are looking forward to our Harvest Festival on 16th October 2019! All Marton friends and family are invited to come and join with us for this very special celebration. It will begin at approx 9.15 am and each class will perform something.
Once again we will be inviting Marton families to send in a harvest gift for us to donate to the Store House food bank in Congleton.
Whilst all contributions are welcomed, we are asking for non perishable goods that can be stored and eventually distributed to people and families needing the service. Attached is a list of items the storehouse is in most need of this year.
More generally they ask for items such as:
Dried pasta, spaghetti, rice
Canned food
Packets of dried food
Toiletries
Sanitary items
Long life /powdered milk
Tea bags
Instant coffee
Laundry detergent
Washing up liquid
Home cleaning products
Pasta sauce
Biscuits
Etc
Many of our families enjoy packing a decorated box or basket, but equally, a few or even one item simply popped into a carrier bag is gratefully received.
We will be collecting your harvest gifts from Wednesday 9th October which will be displayed on stage in the lead up to the Harvest Festival on Wednesday 16th October.
