Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
What a busy week!
Many thanks to our reception parents and carers who were able to join us for a Reading & Phonics session on Wednesday afternoon, it is always a pleasure to welcome you all.
Please don’t forget it’s our Harvest Festival on Wednesday 16th October staring @ 9.15am, already we have some Harvest gifts in school (thank you so much) and children are welcome to bring these in by Wednesday. New Life Church will once again attend to accept all your generous gifts and we thank you in advance for your support. KS2 playground will be open for parking on this morning too.
We are all looking forward to the Whole School Photo day on Monday. Please can ALL children come dressed in full school uniform as this will be a special photograph to commemorate our 50th Year. Individual and sibling photos will also be taken on Monday although we will not be able to invite pre-school children in this year due to timings.
Can I also encourage you all to join us for Parent Surgery next Friday (9.10am) as our Ethos Group of children are coming to present some interesting work to you and we need your help! Rachel our school cook provides bacon rolls too so please attend if you have a spare hour and fancy having breakfast with us.
Don’t forget its Own Clothes Day next Friday (for a bottle payment) towards our Family Bottle Bingo night on Thursday 24th October. Please don’t forget this is our last day of term so do join us for some family fun and a chance to win some bottles to take home.
