Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

We have nearly completed the Communion work with Rev Arch and Rev Naylor and thank them for their support and input.

After half term we will look forward to a special school day at Foxhill, near Frodsham. Children will take part in a range of carousel activities and can come dressed in ‘outdoor clothes’ as we will be using the maze and the beautiful woods during the day. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided for everyone. We will however require your permission to travel on a coach as we are leaving school about 9.15am and will return by 3.30pm. Please complete the travel permission on Parent Pay as soon as possible. Children who are not coming to Foxhill will stay at school with Year 3.

I am delighted to inform you all that following on from our Communion sessions; those children and staff wishing to receive Communion will also be invited to a special Church Service at Marton Church on Saturday 30^th November at 4.30pm conducted by Bishop Willie. We will arrange a rehearsal in school time before the Communion Service takes place. Please make a note of this in your diary. After half term Revd Arch will send out a confirmatory letter asking whether you wish your child to receive communion.
