We are all looking forward to our annual Christmas Fair on Friday 6th December. Please don’t forget it’s Bottle Collection this Friday please.
This year we have decided to focus specifically on creating a Children’s Fair – with the emphasis on encouraging our children and families to have some Christmas fun.
Doors will open on 6th Dec from 2pm where Nick Barnes will entertain children (and parents) till about 2.45pm. After this time, Kickstart will be once again be on hand to play games with children (weather permitting) and can offer further entertainment whilst some children begin browsing and playing children’s games in Year 1 and 2 classrooms using their pocket money. Parents/Carers will be expected to collect children from the fair unless you advise us they are going home at the end of the school day (via bus etc.)
Rachel our school cook will be organising the food so families can eat and enjoy festivities from 2.45pm:
- Hot fresh delicious turkey rolls with stuffing & cranberry £2.50
- Hot dogs & Vegetarian sausages in rolls £1.00
From this time the hall we be open for outside stalls (all families currently at school) and further games. If you would like to have a table/stall at the fair please contact the school office. All welcome!
Our school choir will perform for everyone from 3.30pm
Santa (and a special guest) will be available on the stage from 4pm for Santa Selfies and a chocolate gift
Raffle/Pot of Gold drawn from 4.30pm
If you are able and willing to help at the fair, please arrive at school from 1pm.
Although we don’t have a Friday mountain collection next week, we need unwanted toys in good condition; these can be brought into school anytime. Thank you.
On Friday 29th November from 1pm – we need volunteers who will be available to ‘Deck the Hall’ and begin to prepare the room for the fair the following week. Please contact us if you can help or would like to donate any decorations.
Many thanks in advance
