Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
Preparations are well under way for all things Christmassy at school and it has been a delight to hear the children’s singing around school this week. Massive good luck to all the Capesthorne folks for their performance tonight. We know how hard they have all worked and wish them lots of luck. Huge thanks to Miss Byron and Mrs Field for being so awesome!
We are always proud of our children when we hear about their many varied activities outside school; Stan T Lancaster was in the Wizard of Oz productions last week and performed so well. I was also contacted by the production team at Congleton Gang Show to inform me that Harriet Bourne is in this years’ Gang Show. Well done Harriet! We hope you have lots of fun!
We hope you have received all the information about this year’s Christmas fair which is promising to be very different as the emphasis is all about our children having fun with their families. Raffle tickets have been sent home and your Friday Mountain collections have been impressive. Well done YELLOW team who brought the most bottles in today! Do come and join us and support our wonderful school on Friday 6th from 2pm.
Information about Parents Evening on Monday 16th December will be sent out to you all next week. As this is such a busy time for everyone we are conducting this on one evening starting at 2.30pm – 6.30pm. Children may be collected at 2.30pm although school will remain open as a normal school day till 3.30pm. Staff are more than willing to accommodate parents who may need a different day/time.
