Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
What a delicious week!!!!
Christmas lunch on Wednesday was just yummy and enjoyed by all. Huge thanks to Rachel and Team!
There has been much excitement during the week as it has been the ever popular Christmas shop, conducted by an amazing team of parents (Mrs Claus and Elves) who have ensured that every child was well supported in choosing gifts for their families. I know as a parent at Marton how special my son felt when choosing his gifts and this chance to be ‘independent’ was such a wonderful opportunity for him. Many thanks to Kate, Janet and Team for their endless shopping and wrapping; you have helped make our children feel very special and grown up.
Preparations are well under way for the Key Stage performances next week. Friends and Family will be providing refreshments before the performances so if you can help please contact Andy or Linzi.
Special shout out to Casey, Freya and Amelia who have raised £80 for Visyon, well done girls. We are so proud of you!
Can I encourage all parents and carers to aim to be in school for 9am each day? We have a number of families who are regularly late and whilst this is 5-10 minutes each day, this does build up over the week. Many thanks in advance for your understanding.
We are all looking forward to the Christmas fair later today, all information was posted on the app yesterday for your attention. Please come and support our wonderful school!
Best wishes for the weekend
