Head’s Up!31 January 2020 (by Sandra Bedford (Bursarmarton)) |
January has been the longest month but we have had much to celebrate at school!
Some classes were lucky to work with students from Kings school this week and experience Science workshops and they are returning next week to work with other year groups.
We have also welcomed a teacher training student; Miss Davies and she has begun working with various classes on her placement at Marton.
We were fortunate to have an Act of Worship led by the Archdeacon of Chester – The Rev Mike Gilbertson on Wednesday and he then made time to meet our Ethos children and hear about their involvement at school; we all felt so very proud of them! Next week some of our Year 6 girls have planned a wonderful PowerPoint presentation and will deliver an assembly and we are all looking forward to that. Isn’t it wonderful to have children confident enough to talk in front of the whole school community?
Year 4 are looking forward to their residential to Robin wood and we are wishing them (and the staff) a super time! They will be leaving school about 9.15am on Monday and return on Wednesday about 2.30pm.
Please don’t forget it’s the Congleton Rotary Swimathon on Friday @ 4pm.
Best wishes for the weekend
