A message from Casey in Year 6
Crisp packets can’t be recycled through your bins at home so when my Mum told me that there was a scheme at her work to recycle crisp packets I thought it would be a great idea for us to do this at school.
There is a company who will collect the boxes of crisp packets to recycle them and in return we can raise money for school.
We will be helping the environment, and also be fundraising for school!
COLLECTION BOXES!
I will be making some crisp recycling boxes for your children to post their empty crisp packets into. Please can they also bring in any empty packets from home so that we can save these too.
We can put any brand of crisp packet or the multipack bags in the boxes.
Please remember to make sure they are empty first and not folded into triangles.
Waste that is accepted:
Any brand of crisp packets
Waste that is NOT accepted:
Popcorn bags
Crisp tubes
Pretzel bags
Meat snack bags
THANK YOU FOR HELPING US!
