Weekly news from Mrs Deakin
What an incredibly busy half term this has been!
School has been a hive of activity and a very busy place and we thank you for your support and friendship.
Much discussion this week has taken place regarding Online Safety and I hope as parents and carers you have all enjoyed the resources Mrs Sparey has signposted you too. You will find all of this information on our website (be sure to check out the new staff avatars on the website next week!) We want to give our children the skills for life in the 21st Century but remind them to keep safe online.
Information has been sent to parents and carers in Years 2 – 5 about a possible overseas trip to France in Summer 2021. This will be fully explained at our Parents Surgery on Friday 27th March at 9.10am and we therefore urge you all to come and attend the meeting. We are all very excited about this possible trip and look forward to sharing this information with you all.
We hope you are looking forward to the Fashion Show that our Friends and Family have organised for us on Tuesday 10th March. Do come and buy tickets from the school office and bring as many friends and family members as you can!
If you haven’t yet signed up for the school lottery please follow: https://www.yourschoollottery.co.uk/lottery/school/marton-and-district-cofe-primary-school
We will return to school on Monday 24th February for Day 3 of our Christian Values Days and will welcome Chris Gilbert into school. Rev Arch and Rev Naylor will also launch this day with a special communion service too.
Wishing you all a very happy half term and Valentine’s Day
