Friends and Family news
Fellow Parents and Carers, as I am sure you are already aware, our Friends & Families Fund Raising Team have been busy planning events and finding new and easy ways to raise money for our school.
You may have recently seen posters and flyers advertising a Fashion Show on Tuesday March 10th.
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, this event has had to be postponed until later in the school year. We'd like to thank all those who expressed interest in the event, and offered to help on the night.
We will advertise the new date as soon as we have the confirmation.
You will also have recently been made aware of the new school lottery. This has been set up to replace the 200 club and is a really simple and easy way for you to help the school financially, with the chance of winning back some cash.
All you have to do is follow the link below and register.

Find your school - Your School Lottery Find your school. Each school runs its own lottery. This is how you know that all funds raised go to your local school and all prizes given out go back into your local community. |
You can buy as many tickets per month as you like and obviously the more tickets sold, means more money coming back into school to buy much needed resources for your children.
We have also set another date for a proposed AGM, Tuesday 17th March 3.45pm.
Unfortunately the last date we set for the AGM was too poorly attended for us to be able to complete the necessary formalities. If you want to get involved and would like to help us provide more funds for our school then please come along.
As I explained prior to the first date that we set, this is the opportunity to make changes to the committee.
All present members must be re-elected or replaced, depending on their willingness to continue in their present role.
If two people are interested in holding the same role, then a vote takes place by those present at the meeting to decide who is the best candidate.
It would be really pleasing to see some fresh faces, and get some new willing volunteers on board.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Best Regards,
Paul
F & F Chair.
