A message from Footprints4 March 2020 (by headmarton) |
From Claire and James Huntington
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are Footprints Day Nursey and we have been warmly welcomed by the Head Teacher and Governors of your school to start discussions around developing the prospect of delivering Outstanding child care for children aged from 6 months to 4+ years on the grounds of your child’s school.
Footprints has two settings one in the centre of Macclesfield which opened in 2002 and another on the grounds of Dean Valley Community Primary School which opened in 2011. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding, dedicated care and only employ staff who share the same passion for children as we do.
Footprints was founded in 2002 by our mother who was very passionate about child care and devoted the latter part of her life to providing children with love & care as an extension to her family. Both our nurseries are Ofsted Outstanding, multi-award winning and underpinned by family values.
We believe that we give the best possible start for your child and their development by working in harmony with your family values and by treating your child as an individual. We are a place where every member of staff knows your child and a warm welcome to all your family is always guaranteed. We are passionate about harnessing your child’s natural creativity and talents and we do this with encouragement, love and care.

So what’s the plan?
We plan to open on 20th April 2020, the first day of the summer term, initially taking up to 24 children in the Pre School range of 3 to 5 year olds. As demand dictates, we then plan to open up a second building to cater for 6 months -2 year old children. Ultimately our aim is to open up a full day care provision for children from 6 months to 4+in a purpose built nursery on the grounds of the school.
What does the provision include?
The nursery provision will open 51 weeks per year from 7.30am to 6pm with sessions split as either a full day, or half day (07:30 to 1:15pm or 1:15pm to 6pm).
Our fees are based on how many half or full days per week your child attends and is inclusive of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, with fruit/snacks throughout the day. The actual price has yet to be set but we aim to be highly competitive and offer additional discounts for Marton school parents.
We support the Cheshire East funded entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds and are registered with all major providers for parents to pay their fees via the Tax Free Childcare schemes.
We want to hear from you!
We would like to invite you to give us your ideas and suggestions so that we can plan our provision to fit in with the needs of Marton parents and their children. It would be very much appreciated if you would take the time to fill in this short online questionnaire, by clicking this link:

We are also going to be at Marton Primary School on the following dates if you would like to pop and in to meet us we will then be able to answer any questions you may have:
• 11th March at 2.30pm.
• 25th March at 9.15am.
We look forward to an exciting future ahead working together with the dedicated staff at Marton to make your child’s learning experience a happy and fulfilling one and to fall in line with your mission statement: SOW NURTURE GROW.
Best Wishes
