Apologies for the late message, I am checking emails constantly to see if I have received further information to share with you but as yet I haven’t.

We have spent most of today planning for closing school tomorrow with an unknown return date which is beginning to feel very surreal. School for teachers is part of our DNA and I feel blessed to work with colleagues who are more like family to me. Your children are part of this family.

Many children have asked about all the special events that make a school memorable - sports days, leavers Assemblies, the Sandwich assembly, SATS! And our response today has been to not worry...we are hoping that we can still come together in the summer months in our beautiful school grounds to be together and enjoy these days again.

We know especially for the families self isolating that not being in school tomorrow is going to feel hard and we send them our love.

I will continue to update you as much as I can and want you to know that your children will be in our thoughts daily.
