Marton & District C E Aided Primary School

I am sure you have all watched our PM’s news update this evening informing us of the lockdown restrictions. 

I was waiting to hear what this meant for schools but as yet we have not received any updates or information. I can only therefore stress that school is closed for children UNLESS both parents are ESSENTIAL key workers and you really do not have anyone else to look after your children. This is to stop the spread of this disease and to keep your children safe.

It is also to keep our staff and our families safe too.

I am certain that most of you will not risk taking your children out now, but would greatly appreciate if you could email me directly on head@marton.cheshire.sch.uk ASAP if it is essential that you will need ‘school care provision’ tomorrow.

As Headteacher I will be present but really do not want staff to leave their families behind and therefore need an indication of numbers. I am sure you will understand my concern.
